This is HSM's top-security departmental shredder in its most complete configuration: a SECURIO P44i with a 1/32" x 3/16" cutting head (about 1 x 5 mm, DIN 66399 P-7) plus a separate OMDD cutting unit that reduces CDs and DVDs to 2 x 2 mm pieces. One machine destroys classified paper and optical media, each through its own cutting system.

The P44i is built for secure facilities with a steady flow of material. An internal automatic oiler keeps the fine cutting block lubricated, and the 1,900 W drive holds 11 sheets per pass at P-7, which is high for this security class.
