This guide decodes the four classes so the model number tells you exactly what you are buying.

How Securio naming works

The letter is the class (B, C, AF, P); the number scales with size and capacity within the class; and the cut — strip, cross or micro — is specified per model as a DIN 66399 P-level from P-2 up to P-7. Higher number, bigger machine; higher P-level, finer cut.

Securio B: the office backbone

The B-class runs from compact desk-side units to full office machines — the B22, B24, B26 and up. These are the machines we specify most: long duty cycles, 25–100+ litre bins, and quiet enough to live beside people. A B24 or B26 in P-4 or P-5 is the default answer for a 5–15 person office. Securio C: compact professionals

Securio P: department heavyweights

P-class machines (P36i, P40i, P44i and kin) are the wide-throat, big-bin department tier — continuous duty, 145–200+ litre bins, and cuts available all the way to P-6 and P-7 for high-security and NSA/CSS-approved work. One P-class machine typically serves 25–50 people or a whole floor's collection point.
